From Forest to Flooring
The National Association of Floor Covering Technicians (NAFCT) is excited to announce the upcoming Wood Science Fundamentals event, to be held June 12th, 13th, and 14th at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS. This educational and interactive event is designed to provide flooring professionals with an in-depth understanding of the science behind wood and how it relates to the installation and maintenance of flooring.
NAFCT is proud to join forces with Mississippi State University Extension to offer a one-of-a-kind training experience at the South’s premier institution for wood science education. Frank Owens, Assistant Professor explains, “Equipping participants with a practical foundation in wood science basics will deepen their ability to diagnose difficult problems and propose effective solutions. We have an outstanding week planned that includes a diverse lineup of expert instructors, manufacturer visits and hands-on learning.
