The Summit 2024

The National Association of Floor Covering Technicians (NAFCT) and UNITE Floor Training Alliance are unveiling the educational sessions for The Summit 2024. Their 2-day event will present an unparalleled opportunity for flooring installers, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers to engage in enriching educational experiences, valuable networking, and the opportunity to participate in the panel discussion: “Bridging the Gap Between Installers and Manufacturers.”

On Thursday, February 22, educational sessions will include:

• “Concrete – Overview, Mix Designs, and Moisture” presented by Dean Craft, Principal with ISE Logik.
• “Causes and Remedies of Concrete Slab Imperfections” presented by Seth Pevarnik, Director of Technical Services for Ardex Americas.
• “Testing by the Lab Guy” presented by Lee Phillips, Laboratory Director at Professional Testing Laboratory LLC.
• “What is ASTM?” presented by Sonny Callaham, Co-founder and Chairman of NAFCT.

On Friday, February 23 educational sessions will include:

• “Floorcloud: The Future of Jobsite Monitoring Is Here!” presented by Scott Banda, Co-Founder & CEO of Floorcloud.
• “Seaming Today’s Handmade Carpets” presented by Robert Varden, Owner of Advanced Flooring Technology and Founder of UNITE.
• “Substrate and Flooring Failures” presented by Lew Migliore, President of LGM and Associates.
• “Knowledge That Sticks With You” presented by Gary Scheidker, Director of Technical Services for Taylor Adhesives.
