Loba Wakol-NAFCT Training
About the Training
In partnership with NAFCT, Wakol offers this two-part certification training.
Part 1 is Substrate Preparation training
Part 2 is Modular Resilient Installation and certification testing

How to Receive Certification:
- Sign up for Loba Wakol’s training – Click Here
- Register for NAFCT Certification – see registration options below
- Complete the subfloor prep online courses, quizzes, and score a minimum of 80% score on final exam
- Attend the in-person training
*Please note that in order to receive the modular resilient flooring certification, the subfloor prep certification must be completed in full.
How to Register for Certification:
Are you registering more than one person? If so, please utilize the group registration. When registering each attendee, you will be able to select if they will be attending the 3-day event, resilient installation only, or subfloor prep only.
For individual certification registration, please select either Subfloor Prep Certification (Day 1) or Subfloor Prep and Modular Resilient.

Eric Underwood has worked in the flooring industry over 20 years. He started his career in the flooring industry, working at a carpet warehouse unloading trucks and selling carpet and vinyl. Eric then transitioned to working as a helper for a carpet store where they installed all types of floor coverings. He worked as a helper for about 6 years until Eric was able to go out on his own and started his own installation company. He subcontracted for many different flooring stores until 2010. In 2011 Eric started contracting all of Stanly Interiors work until October 4, 2021 when he took the job at Loba- Wakol North America working with the Technical department as the Wakol application Specialist
