NAFCT Appoints Scott Bohaker as New Executive Director

The National Association for Floor Covering Technicians (NAFCT) is proud to announce the appointment of Scott Bohaker as its new Executive Director. Scott brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and a passion for the flooring industry that aligns perfectly with NAFCT’s mission to support and advance professional flooring installers through education, certification, and advocacy.

Scott is committed to getting out in front of installers and to be an advocate for them and NAFCT. His unique experiences as being the installer, flooring contractor, mill technical rep and inspector brings a well rounded mindset on how to lead NAFCT.

Scott is the Owner and Operations Manager of BoMont Flooring Services, Inc., an international leader in commercial flooring installation. With over 30 years of installation expertise and as a Master Certified Inspector with more than 15 years of inspection experience, Scott has worked across the country alongside contractors and retailers, playing a critical role in product testing and training.

“Scott’s experience with working with installers on both commercial and residential projects will be key to expanding NAFCT to the next level,” said Sonny Callaham, Chairman of the NAFCT Board. “The training facility he and his wife, Tammy, operate will also play a vital role in our goal of offering affordable and accessible training to the industry.”

Given Scott’s unique experiences as an installer, flooring contractor, mill technical representative, and inspector, Scott brings a well-rounded perspective that uniquely positions him to understand the challenges and opportunities facing today’s flooring professionals. His commitment to getting out in front of installers and being an advocate for them and for NAFCT will help elevate the voice of the technician in every facet of the industry.
